The Economy

It's time to put people back to work by making it easier to start and run a business instead of being run out of business. It means restoring the fundamental principals of Free Market Capitalism, Personal Liberty, Responsibility and Opportunity as well as getting control of our national debt. The American Dream is alive and well in each of us but it is time to accept that more government control is not the solution to innovation and prosperity.

National Security

We must continue to secure America's leadership position in the world by maintaining the greatest military history has ever known. But the time has come to bring our troops home and begin to put America first in our foreign policy agenda. Dangers are all around us and protecting the homeland, defending our freedom and our Consitutional liberties come with a price. However while we can not afford waste or fraud we can least afford a threat or attack at home or abroad where American interests provide the world a shining light of hope.

Conservation

I believe we have but one planet entrusted to us by The Creator. We must effectively manage our natural resources for future generations to enjoy, especially the California coastline. Opportunities for responsible innovation are all around us. But our conservation efforts must be done without expanding a heavy handed government bureaucracy. We can not just accept being mislead by false scientific data in mandating an unbridled tax scheme to benefit a few radical extremists while crippling our general economic growth.
